About PartyLine

PartyLine was built to make congressional voting records easier to understand and compare.

What PartyLine Does

Every vote cast in the House and Senate is public record. But for most Americans, that information is buried in technical language, long bill texts, and scattered government databases.

Modern political discussion focuses on headlines, speeches, and social media. Voting records are different. They are measurable, documented, and permanent.

PartyLine organizes that data into a clear, issue-based format so you can quickly see how elected officials actually vote, without commentary or partisan framing. We cover 13 key issues and score every member of Congress based on real roll call votes.

Why We Built It

Most political tools tell you what to think. PartyLine just shows you what happened. We believe voters deserve clear, unfiltered access to the public record so they can draw their own conclusions.

We don't endorse candidates or take positions on issues. We show you who voted for what, and you decide what that means to you.

Jacob Chapa

About the Founder

Jacob Chapa is the founder of PartyLine. He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who has been a registered Republican and Democrat and has voted on both sides of the aisle.

PartyLine grew out of a simple frustration: it was too hard to find out what elected officials actually do once they're in office. Jacob built it to make that information accessible to everyone, regardless of political background.
